The people behind LATITUD.

Dr. Querida Lugo
Dr. Querida Lugo, affectionately known as Dr. Que, is Co-Founder & Director of Global Lifestyle Strategy for Latitud. An entrepreneur, business and mindset consultant, Executive Function coach, educator, author, speaker, and lifestyle strategist, she has spent more than a decade helping people create businesses and lives rooted in greater intention, flexibility, purpose, and freedom. Long before location-independent living became a mainstream conversation, Dr. Que was exploring the intersection of entrepreneurship, intentional lifestyle design, and flexible business models and how they could create greater possibilities for where and how people choose to live. Through her company, Styling For Your Life, founded in 2009, her work has evolved across business development, personal growth, mindset, education, entrepreneurship, and intentional living. Throughout that journey, people frequently asked her the same question: “How did you create a life that allows you to do this?” That question became part of the foundation for Latitud. Through years of building businesses, developing multiple income streams, cultivating meaningful relationships, traveling, and intentionally creating a lifestyle that allows her to work and lead across different locations, Dr. Que gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to build greater freedom into both life and business. Today, she brings that experience to Latitud. As Co-Founder & Director of Global Lifestyle Strategy, Dr. Que guides the vision, strategy, and member experience behind the company. Rather than simply helping people decide where they want to go, she helps them explore how to strategically create a life that can support where and how they want to live. Her work focuses on the bigger picture: the relationship between lifestyle, location, business, income, purpose, community, and long-term sustainability. She helps entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals think beyond the logistics of international living to consider the deeper questions that shape a successful transition. How do you create income that provides greater geographic flexibility? How can your business continue operating when you are no longer physically present in one location? How do you prepare for a future in which work, retirement, purpose, income, and lifestyle may look completely different? And most importantly, how do you intentionally create a life that genuinely reflects what you want? Dr. Que leads with curiosity, strategy, relationship building, and real-world exploration. She researches destinations, cultivates trusted professional networks, develops strategic partnerships, asks the questions that matter, and creates opportunities for Latitud members to discover possibilities they may not have previously considered. Through Latitud, she helps members move from curiosity to clarity and from possibility to a practical, intentional strategy. Her work is grounded in one central belief: The goal isn’t simply to move somewhere new. The goal is to intentionally build a life you actually want to live.

Toni Topps
Toni Topps is Co-Founder & Director of Transition & Relocation Success for Latitud. A financial consultant, entrepreneur, retired U.S. Air Force veteran, global traveler, and relocator herself, Toni helps Latitud members confidently navigate the practical realities of international relocation. As she documents her own transition from the United States to Panama, Toni brings firsthand insight into the questions, decisions, and challenges individuals and families may encounter along the way. From preparing to sell a home and deciding what to do with personal belongings to researching schools, exploring neighborhoods, establishing banking relationships, identifying trusted professionals, continuing business operations, and navigating Panama’s residency process through the Pensionado and other pathways, Toni understands that relocation involves far more than simply packing a suitcase and purchasing a plane ticket. Her journey is helping Latitud build something different: a relocation experience shaped by the real questions people ask before, during, and after the move. Drawing from her background in financial consulting, entrepreneurship, military service, and international travel, Toni brings a unique understanding of the importance of preparation, financial clarity, trusted relationships, and access to the right resources. As a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, Toni also has a special interest in helping fellow veterans explore the possibilities of international living and better understand how retirement income, benefits, healthcare resources, and other forms of support may factor into their relocation journey. Through relationships with attorneys, bankers, real estate professionals, schools, healthcare resources, and other trusted service providers, Toni helps Latitud members identify the right questions, navigate their options, and begin building the professional and personal support network they may need throughout their relocation journey.
